Good Enough is built from the ground up with AI. It's a meaningful part of
how we operate, but we're deliberate about where it helps and where it
doesn't belong. Here's our policy, in plain terms.
Where AI helps
How GE uses AI
Agentic workflows. We use AI agents to automate multi-step
research, data processing, and administrative tasks like meeting notes end-to-end.
Rapid prototyping. AI accelerates early-stage design by
generating working drafts of app interfaces, dashboards, data visualizations,
and graphics for review and iteration.
Code execution. AI writes, runs, and debugs code for data
analysis, automation scripts, and technical prototypes.
Research. AI accelerates literature reviews, policy scans,
and landscape analyses by synthesizing large volumes of information quickly.
Guidance. AI helps surface relevant frameworks, precedents,
and best practices, and helps consider likelihoods of outcomes under different scenarios.
Troubleshooting. AI assists in diagnosing technical problems,
errors, and blockers across tools and workflows.
Where it doesn't belong
How GE does not use AI
Decision-making. While AI has turbocharged our motor, you
are still at the wheel. We do not automate decisions using AI.
Writing. Writing = thinking. Our published work, proposals,
and thought leadership reflect our own thinking and voice — not AI-generated
text.
Auto-response.You will not receive an email, text, or
any other communication on our behalf directly from an AI agent. We may use AI
to draft a response or provide a summary, but a human will always review, edit, and send.
If you talk to us, we will respond - not AI.
Our commitments
When GE uses AI
We are transparent and note that AI is being used. Clients
and partners are told when AI is part of a deliverable or workflow.
We check for bias. We actively review AI outputs for implicit
assumptions, missing perspectives, and the likelihood that skewed data were
used in model training before acting on them.
We de-identify data and context. Sensitive client information
is stripped or anonymized before being passed to any AI tool.
We double-check work and take responsibility for the quality of the
outputs. We verify every result and stand behind everything we deliver.
